I have a new project underway as of the March 11 earthquake in Northern Japan. The intent is to create songs that will become part of the resulting album called “Songs for Japan”.

The draft title track, named “Daiichi-2” has been published recently and comments on how to improve it are welcome! I am currently working on several concepts for more songs to be named after many of the key locations and events coming to light in the aftermath of this disaster. For example, there is a tree that was the only one left standing of 70000 trees planted by the shores of Rikuzentakata. So I am working on a song called “Tree of Hope in Rikuzentakata”.

All proceeds from the sale of this album will be donated to Red Cross Japan to support disaster relief efforts in Japan.
